1938 Five Dollars($5) Sarawak Bank Note

This is a $5 Sarawak Bank Note issued 1/1/1938. Details of the note are as follows:
- the printer is Bradbury Wilkinson & Son, London
- the size of this note is 144mmx96mm
On the front of this note:

Within a patterned border which has the bust of Rajah Charles Vyner Brook in the top right-hand corner, the value in the top left and bottom right-hand corners, and the State Arms in the bottom left corner: “THE GOVERNMENT OF SARAWAK/Promise to pay the Bearer on Demand/at Kuchin/FIVE DOLLARS/local currency for value received”. Below this the printed date serial number and facsimile signature of the Treasurer, H.M.Calvert.
On the back:
An ornamental panel containing the value “5/DOLLARS”. Above this ” THE GOVERNMENT OF” and below it ‘SARAWAK”
The colour is light and dark brown on white paper, the serial numbers, date and signature all in black.
The quantity printed was 500,000 notes.
