Straits Settlements 1891 Queen Victoria Gold Proof Coins

Gold proof coins of the Straits Settlements are very rare commodities.

Take for example the following:

This is the Straits Settlements Gold Proof Set (Lot 909 of 1954 from the famous coin collector-King Farouk Sotheby Auction). It was realised at £110 at that time. However it was sold by Private Sale at S$360,000 in 2005 by United Numismatic Centre,Singapore.(source:http://www.uncspore.com/news.html)
