1937 Ten(10) Dollars, Sarawak Bank Note

This is a ten dollar ($10) 1/6/1937 Sarawak big bank note
Details:
- Size is 158mm x 114mm
- Designed and printed by Bradbury Wilkinson & Co Ltd, London
- Colours:Red on white paper, with black serial numbers, date and facsimile signature
- Quantity printed:200,000 notes
- There are three issuane of ten dollars Sarawak notes dated 1/7/1929 (Treasurer: A.A.Rennie) ;1/6/1937(Treasurer:H.H.Calver) and 1/1/1940 (Treasurer:B.A.Trenchman)
On the front we see:
- Within a patterned border “THE GOVERNMENT OF/SARAWAK/Promise to Pay the/Bearer on Demand at Kuching/TEN DOLLARS/local currency for value received”. To the left of this, the State Crest on a background of palm trees and on the right is the bust of the Rajah Charles Vyner Brooke facing to the left
- Signature : treasurer: H.H.Calver
On the back:
- Within an ornamental panel, a picture of the government buildings, with the figures”10″ on either side of it. Abovethe picture “THE/GOVERNMENT/OF” and below it “SARAWAK”

Banknotes issued by the Sarawak Government are very rare.
Sarawak banknotes very difficult to find in High Grade
Yep, if you find them mainly F-AVF-VF. Most of them been mended at the edge,etc
